Facility No. 3826 is a main location in Atomic Heart.

Overview[]

Located in the eastern Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic (Kazakh SSR or Kazakhstan), Facility 3826 is a major Soviet research and development center. It is a hub of high technology and scientific advancement where many of the brightest minds in the USSR work. Its sprawling array of structures house numerous labs, production plants, test areas, and service and utility areas as well as the amenities needed to support its staff. Its purpose is to design, build, and test technologies which improve the lives of the Soviet citizenry.

Facility 3826 was where Kollektiv 1.0, the world’s first global network, was successfully developed. The system would mark its debut in 1946, a mere three years after the facility first opened. In addition to Kollektiv, 3826 is where development of numerous other technological marvels, including the VOV-A6 Lab Tech and the MA-9 Belyash robots, took place.

Note[]

  • Originally in development, there would've been more locations to explore with other laboratories, including a large sandy beach, frozen wasteland, aquatic oceans and a museum which autonomously showcase the robots and their functions.
  • Atomic Heart's first draft used to be a movie script; written, directed and produced by Artyom Galeev, one of the CEO's of Mundfish and the lead art designer. The movie beared the same name as that of the facility; Facility 3826.
